Frequently Asked Questions

Here are our quick and easy answers to some of your most frequently asked questions about how your order will get to you.

Christmas And New Year Holiday Closure Notice
We are now closed for the Christmas/New Year holidays. We will resume work on Wednesday 15th January 2020.

Orders:
Customers can still place orders on our website during the holiday period, but there will be no shipping of orders during this period. We will resume shipping from Wednesday 15th January 2020 on wards. There will be some delays with dispatch of orders once we resume work in January and we will NOT be able to guarantee same day dispatch for customers choosing a courier shipping option, whilst we catch up from the Christmas/New Year holidays.

Email Responses:
There will be no responses to emails during the Christmas/New Year closure. We will try to respond to all emails as soon as possible once we resume work. Please bear with us, as it may take a little while to catch up with emails and orders upon our return.

About Ordering

It is our aim that ordering from this site be a straight forward pleasant experience. Your satisfaction is paramount; we want you to enjoy our products and be happy with our service. During the ordering process, you will be required to check a box agreeing to our stated terms and conditions. Please do take a moment to familiarise yourself with these before proceeding with an order. Terms & conditions are also linked at the foot of each web-page so that you can read them before deciding on how and when to order.

We would like to draw your attention to our order processing & shipping procedures in particular. In essence, when reading the terms & conditions you will see that we require a period for packing in addition to the time taken for delivery.

In general, we aim to have your order delivered to you within a week, most are dispatched within 24-48 hours depending upon content. (This doesn’t apply to trade clients) Parcels are then sent on a 3 to 5 day delivery service depending upon your location in UK. Please note that during busy periods and during the months of November and December, delivery lead times will be extended. If you have a deadline we suggest that you allow at least 10 days for turnaround of your order during November and December and 5 working days at all other times – alternatively check the service message on our home page.

We do not hold your credit card data. You do not enter any credit card data into the Delicate Owl site. When you come to pay for your products you leave our site and your payment is processed through PayPal payments interface. So making it easier if you have a PayPal account or simple add your card payment details. Redemption of gift vouchers or coupons online are available.

Payment will be taken in GB pounds (£).

Paying for your orders

We accept all major credit/debit cards except Amex/Diners & Maestro cards. You may also choose to pay via PayPal in this method.
